The most common side effects of Proscar include a decreased interest in sexual intercourse, inability to have or keep an erection, or a loss in sexual ability, desire, drive or performance. Talk to your doctor or a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or are severe.
You should contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms:
While rare, these symptoms require immediate medical attention. This is not a complete list of side effects associated with finasteride. Studies have shown that finasteride can increase your risk of developing breast cancer or high-grade prostate cancer, which spreads and grows more rapidly than other types of prostate cancer.
Studies have also shown that Proscar can affect the results of the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test, which may be used to detect prostate cancer. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider that you are taking finasteride so that they are aware of any medication interference with PSA testing.
Proscar is only for use in men and can cause birth defects in pregnant women. If you are breastfeeding, pregnant, or plan on becoming pregnant and touch crushed or broken Proscar tablets, you should wash your hands and call your doctor right away.

As with any medication, there may be side effects to consider. Please let your healthcare provider know if you have a medical condition, ever sexual desire or arousal, high blood pressure, infection, muscle spasms, polyps in your body, high cholesterol, a prostate or bladder cancer, or if you have any of these conditions.
To help you know which side effects may be a sign of you having a problem with your prostate-related health, your healthcare provider should know about any medication interactions with Proscar. Please let them know if you have any kidney or liver disease, prostate cancer, a urinary tract infection, a stroke, heart attack, or a heart failure, as these may also be signs of your condition.

To help you know which side effects may be a sign of you having a genetic condition, your healthcare provider should know about any genetic conditions that affect your DNA. As a result, you may have genetic conditions that affect the genetic material of your life. In addition, any health conditions linked with finasteride can affect your health. Some medical conditions can make you more likely to develop these genetic conditions, so it is important for you to let your healthcare provider know about any health conditions before starting Proscar.

To help you know which side effects may be a sign of having a stomach ulcer, Proscar is only for men and can cause a dangerous increase in the prothrombin time. Because Proscar is only for men, the increased test result may not be accurate enough for men with reduced thyroid function.
Any health condition linked to your blood platelet function can cause your blood platelet function to be more susceptible to damage from blood clots. Because Proscar is only for men, the increased prothrombin time can be too much for men with other health conditions, including cancer or heart disease.
If you experience any symptoms of a blood clot during your treatment with Proscar, call your doctor immediately. As a result, you should not operate heavy equipment like blood pressure machines, as these may alert your healthcare provider of any clotting disorder.
Signs of a serious allergic reaction include fast, irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Give your healthcare provider a call immediately if you have a stomach or duodenal ulcer, as these symptoms are signs of a serious reaction to finasteride.
I just got back from our local pharmacy and we have a new supply, proscar for hair and male pattern baldness.
The store is closed so we have to run. The pharmacy is closed so they can just be replaced at any time. The hair is still growing and has not gone down much. The only thing that is really bad is the cold sore, and it is so much stronger than normal.
This is because I don't really want to lose that hair and it is so expensive. I will just keep using this store.

I know it is expensive. And I don't really want to lose that hair.
I do have a little bit of a cold sore so I do not want to have to see it.
I have some very strong, very strong blisters on my scalp. I know that I shouldn't take this as an actual hair loss. But I don't want to lose that much of my hair. I just want to keep using this store and I will continue to take care of the cold sore.
I know that I can do that too but I have so many other things that I don't want to do.
I have been trying to get some of my hair to go back to normal size since I was a kid, so I thought I would be able to get it to do that. But the best I can do is to put some of my hair back in a thin, thick layer, and put it on top of my scalp, and then put a thin layer in the middle of my body. I was going to put a little bit of my body on top of that but I just couldn't.
Now, I have some of the thick, thick, thick, and even some of my scalp hair. I am very self conscious that I am losing my hair, but I don't want to lose it.
I have been using the store as an actual hair loss store for a couple of years. I have a lot of hair, I have my hair, I have my nails, and I am pretty self conscious about how I am losing my hair.
Now, I have some hair on my left arm and I just have to put that hair back on top of my scalp. I have put it on my scalp and I just have to put my hair back on top of my scalp.
I have a lot of thick hair. I have a lot of thick hair, I have my hair, I have my nails, and I am pretty self conscious about how I am losing my hair.

I’ve been reading all my meds online for a while and I’m a bit wary of using them. I’m using Finasteride as it has a very similar mechanism of action as the brand name drug Proscar. I’m wondering if anyone has any advice on what might be best for him? I’d be interested in any and all recommendations.
I was given Finasteride ( vertex ) to treat an enlarged prostate and I was diagnosed with a very serious problem. I went to my doctor on my first day and he prescribed this medication. It was 5 months later I was prescribed Proscar. I thought it was going to be the same thing with both of them but I was not given a prescription. Then I got Proscar the first day and I got the results. It’s very similar to Proscar but it’s working better for the enlarged prostate. I can’t use it as my hair is thinning at the temples. My hair is still not back up and it is still getting to the roots. I’m not sure how much of a difference it made.
So, I was given this medication to treat my enlarged prostate. I am now taking it for a few months and it has helped with my symptoms and I am now seeing more hair growth. I think I am taking Proscar but am wondering if anyone has any tips or advice on how to improve my hair growth?
Hi I was on the 5 month Proscar and it made my hair grow back. I started to have a bit of hair thinning in the front of my head, then it went to my crown. My hair loss has not gone. It seems to be going back up again but not completely. I have been getting a lot of hair loss in the crown area. I am on a 1 month treatment plan with Finasteride and the results have been good. I am on the 1 month Proscar but have not had results.
I have had a lot of hair loss in the front area but not much of it. My hair is thick and it is getting thinner and thinning. My doctor prescribed me 5 months of Finasteride ( I think 5 months of Proscar was the best thing) and my hair is back to normal.
Hi I have been taking Finasteride as it has helped with my hair loss. I am using it regularly and it has been working well for the past few months. I am getting the same results as my doctor did. I am just not sure if I need to change my dosage. The only other thing that seems wrong is taking it for a year. It does make my hair thinning worse. I am going to see my doctor about taking my hair loss medication as I have had good results. If it is not working I will try and get on it again. I will update my blog asap if I need to do it.
